I give up!

These all sound great, but there are SO MANY that I don't know where to begin (or end). I feel like one of those predatory creatures that finds itself in the middle of a huge shoal of fish but ends up hungry.

One of you, I know, is busy working on a "Top Ten". Please consider sharing your thoughts. Better still, cherrypick for us some sort of playlist - Road Trips-style - containing the best moments.

PS The same request goes out for the recently-available Ratdog SBDS, which imho sound more fun than Furthur.

I can't possibly get you back to a "top ten", but I can give you a top 40ish sort of list.

12/11,30-31/2009
2/12-14,19,24/2010
3/2-3,5-6,12/2010
5/28-30/2010
6/26-27,30/2010
7/10-11,30/2010
9/16-17,20,24-26/2010
11/9,12-14,20-21/2010
12/30-31/2010

As they were uploaded, their names and metadata was "cleaned up", so they're all quite consistent now. A search like this will show you the list of all the SBDs:

http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=collection%3AFurthur%20AND%20year%3A%222010%22%20AND%20subject%3A%22Official%20Soundboard%22

(you can change that "2010" to "2009" (or, soon, "2011") to see SBDs from other years).

Thanks for the PS: I didn't know about the radtog sbds

I think a shorter list would be the shows to avoid, but I'm trying to be positive: listened to asheville 2.9.10 & the beginning of charlotte 2.10.10 yesterday. 2.24.10 rcmh &... of course 5.29-30.10 furthurfest bare mentioning (along with 2.22.69 & 4.20.83- oops wrong band - wrong era).

Anybody else have any experiences or suggestions? Not a lot of the positive reviews from our folks who went to yet-to-be-published fall 2010 MSG-shows (& I think that the audience tapes bore this feeling out), so, to end on a positive note: Just got my Fox 4.3.11 sbds, and I feel that the band has matured sooo much-

Check out that Dark Star, Cliffie. Seriously (but put era-blinders on): http://www.archive.org/download/further2011-04-03/further2011-04-03_s2t06.mp3 I like it whether you do or not ;-)
Peace,

if time is scarce, try back with the 2010NYEs or 2011 Broomfields are up... & look for the 2010-03-05,6 Broomfields

Thank you Jack for all your hard work. I look forward to going through your list.

There was clearly some wonderful music played at these shows, and I'm so grateful that we're allowed to stream such good-quality recordings. I have bought a few of the shows as official FLACS, so this is a nice bonus.

I dipped into this one today and just loved the Crazy Fingers > Cumberland Blues. Yet to hear the rest, but there are good reviews for the AUDS.
